Meet the Dream Team : Bruce Lee

Bruce A Lee has over twenty-five years of experience as a general contractor and construction professional in the housing industry. Bruce started his career as an apprentice carpenter and journeyman specializing in custom homes. In 1990 Mr. Lee obtained his general contractors license and formed Bruce A Lee General Contractors. Mr. Lee initially contracted with several small subdivisions providing site superintendent and project management services. In 1998, Mr. Lee began a partnership with Steve Ledsen building a new subdivision dedicated to authenticating older period homes with a modern flair. The work continues to the present to the 2009 HGTV Dream Home. Mr. Lee has also been the general contractor for a hotel and winery in Sonoma County. Mr. Lee currently is developing and building homes in Santa Rosa's prestigious Fountaingrove community and also is the lead contractor for homes in neighboring Marin County.

Mr. Lee's business has grown steadily for the past ten years and continues on that trajectory. Mr. Lee prides himself in working with the home owner from initiation of the architectural plan through procurement to final construction of each of his homes. Mr. Lee believes that it is important to stay active with the home owner from initiation of the contract to assure that he understands the particularities of each of his clients and to allow the final product to reflect their desires. Mr. Lee prides himself in his consultative work with each client and has received high marks for quality and satisfaction. Mr. Lee believes that open communications with all customers, subcontractors and vendors is paramount to success.

Mr. Lee has been married for 15 years and has a 12 year old son. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and believes that a strong family is great support for a successful business. Mr. Lee is an athlete and specializes in power lifting. Mr. Lee holds 12 California State power lifting records and still holds the national power lifting record for his age group. Mr. Lee also won the AAU World Power Lifting championships in 2000. Mr. Lee has an honorable discharge from the US Air force as an air traffic controller.
